My neighbour had vowed never to let any girl survive as a salesgirl in my shop. This thing has happened for over three times. Each time we brought a new salesgirl, the girl would stay for two or three months; and suddenly she would end her contract with us. In all these, my husband did not know. So, being that the girls usually stole money and other items, the reason for their departure became genuine, thus: they ran away to avoid being punished for their actions. But behind this, the underlying truth is that the girls had been embarrassed by my neighbour who would warn them to leave her loosed husband.

Recently, the woman threatened to fight my salesgirl before she suddenly announced her departure. I could not bear it anymore that I had to tell my husband. In his normal playful lifestyle, my husband said, “How long would she continue to fight young girls and be bitten up one day as she struggles what she did not know? How many of the places the man goes to does she know?” These questions struck me and I chose to discuss these steps as solutions to my neighbour’s lingering problem.  The first, out of the five ways, is,

* Show him what he looks out for from other women

Note: Men are attracted by/to what they see, just as we (women) are attracted by/to what we hear.

Your husband is usually attracted by what he sees on other women because you have decided to be a treasure locked up inside long gowns.

Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love (Prov 5:19-20).

Our problem as women is the readiness to tell our husbands our worth; we do not allow them to see our worth and stress them for continuous emphasis. For the fact that a man is whom he is, he will always like to assert that authority that makes him the man. What you can do to rest his head on you is simply to use your God-given features to captivate him always. There is nothing he goes out to see more than what he already has in you, but your heart-hardened nature has kept you aloof. You want him to beg you and make promises before he sees the real you in you. Therefore, as the home he is supposed to find comfort in fails to give him the comfort, the man is pushed outside. Yet you say that it is not your fault.

Let us be mature in this discussion. Tell yourself the truth; when last have you dressed yourself like this and approach your husband without having one request to make? The man sees you a nagging type if you choose to use his possession in you to rob him of his free-minded promises and willing surprises. Therefore, each time he sees you in the mood unusual, his heart jolts and quickly he will summarize you thus, “What does she want this time?”  

You can save your marriage and save your head from worrying about the things that happen behind your shoulder by making him to build an obsessive picture about you; let him see your nakedness always. If you succeed in planting this obsessive picture of yours in him, you will end your struggle. With this you will know that the man is the head while you are his neck.
