Irked by comments credited to Senator Godswill Akpabio that his conquest of Akwa Ibom in 2019 would be likened to Adolf Hitler’s conquest of Warsaw, Poland, political stakeholders have vowed to resist him and prevent the state from sliding into an orgy of violence.
Udom-Akpabio Senator Godswill Akpabio had while speaking at a funeral service at a church in Enugu, reportedly said:”Warsaw saw war and war saw Warsaw. We can’t talk politics in the church but in 2019 Warsaw shall see war and war shall see Warsaw. The return will be a victory.”
Speaking at Onna during an endorsement rally hosted by the people of Eket Senatorial District for Governor Udom Emmanuel various leaders urged the governor not to be distracted by the antics of the opposition.
Former minister of lands and housing, Chief Nduese chicken into submission by joining a party everyone in the state holds in disdain. Deputy Governor, Mr. Moses Ekpo said “The entire Ikot Ekpene senatorial district is set to tie kith and kin with Eket Senatorial District. Udom is our in-law, the wife is our daughter.
Describing Udom Emmanuel’s project as a pan-Akwa Ibom project, Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly,  Onofiok Luke pleaded with political actors in the state to stop heating up the polity with ethnic sentiments. “Udom Gabriel Emmanuel’s second term is not an ethnic agenda.
It is a pan-Akwa Ibom agenda. We are urging you from the House of Assembly; please let us stop the ethnic agenda. Let us promote an Akwa Ibom agenda “. Also speaking, Senator Effiong Bob warned that “any attempt to shift the goal post in 2019, we bind it in Jesus name, Amen. Ikot Ekpene shine your eyes, don’t allow any man to mislead you. We are for Udom”.
Also speaking, former Deputy Governor, Dr. Chris Ekpenyong, House of Representatives member for Ikot Abasi federal constituency, Hon. Francis Uduyok, National Legal Adviser of the PDP, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem and the Chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON, in the state, Mr. Frank Archibong, assured Governor Udom Emmanuel of a resounding victory in 2019.

Mr. Archibong furthered that all the 31 local government chairmen were intact in support for the governor. Speaking on behalf of the youths, the State Youth Leader of PDP, Comrade Enobong Harry the state PDP Youth leader, pledged the support of the youths to the Governor’s second term bid

                  INTRODUCTION In the history of syntax, prepositions alongside other parts of speech are considered as one of the esteemed contributions of the sophists (the itinerant teachers) to the development of the human language. Etymologically, the term “preposition” belonged to the group of word class Aristotle, the founder, referred to as “syndesmoi”. Others in this group are conjunction , article and pronoun . They were thus grouped by Aristotle because they were found to be performing related functions that are summed up in binding terms and exposing the gaps amidst sentences when they are not included.
