Bruno Fernandes a costly material in the transfer market
Sporting Lisbon president Frederico Varandas has revealed the club’s stance on Bruno Fernandes, amid widespread interest in his services.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are among those to be linked with the Portuguese side’s skipper but Varandas made it clear he will cost a pretty sum.
“I don’t know if there are many or if there are few [interested clubs]. What I know, a lot has been spoken of values, coming to the press, €55m, €62m… for that he doesn’t leave, for sure.”
Yacine Brahimi, the free agent who had held talks with Arsenal over a move to the Emirates this summer, is set to join Qatari side Al-Rayyan.
The 29-year-old, who left Porto following the conclusion of his contract at the end of last season, will join the his new club after undergoing a medical on Monday.
Brahimi had also been linked with a move to Everton.
