Why Moise Kean rejected Arsenal transfer approach to agree Everton switch

Moise Kean turned down the chance to join Arsenal because the north London club could not promise first-team football, according to reports.
The Juventus striker is set to join Everton after the two clubs agreed a fee that could rise to as much as £36million.
The 19-year-old is now set to undergo a medical with the Merseyside club before completing the deal, which is expected to give the Italian champions first refusal on signing him in the future.
However, the Daily Mail reports that Arsenal contacted both Juventus and Mino Raiola, the player's agent, in an attempt to hijack the move at the last minute.
But the publication claims that the Italy international rejected a switch to the Emirates Stadium because the Gunners were unable to guarantee a regular place in Unai Emery's starting line-up.
Moise Kean is set to complete a move to Everton
A move to Arsenal would have seen the teenager compete with both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette for first-team minutes.
And according to the Mail, Everton boss Marco Silva intends to put the highly-rated forward at the centre of his plans in order to help him reach his full potential.
Kean burst onto the scene with seven goals in 17 appearances for the Serie giants but faced tough competition from Cristiano Ronaldo , Federico Bernardeschi, Paulo Dybala, and Mario Mandzukic.
He has also managed to find the net twice in just three games for the Italian national side.
Kean has won three caps for Italy
It is expected that Kean's arrival could mark the start of a late transfer spree from Everton, with manager Marco Silva reportedly wanting to add five new players before the transfer window closes.
While Kean prepares to join the Toffees, midfielder Idrissa Gueye has left Goodison Park after completing a £30m move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Aston Villa ace penned an emotional message to fans on Instagram : "To The Blues. Thank YOU! Since my arrival I have felt at home at this club, you have welcomed me and my family with open arms.
Idrissa Gueye has left Everton
"Everton FC gave me the opportunity to continue in the premier league and the last 3 years I have had some amazing experiences which I will cherish forever.
"I am grateful to have had the love and support of you all throughout this journey and I must say no matter the weather or permformances the support was always there.
"As you know I am about to start a new journey, a journey that I have dreamed about since a kid and when this opportunity presented itself I couldn’t turn it down.
"To my teammates and coaches I will miss you and will continue to support you. Everton ... we are family and will continue to be and for me Merseyside will always be BLUE."
