COVID-19: Obasanjo donates 32-room facility for isolation centre



A former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday donated his 32 – room facility to Ogun State Government for use as isolation centre for coronavirus patients. 

The facility is Obasanjo’s former residence, located off the Presidential Boulevard, Oke Sari, Abeokuta.

A statement issued by Obasanjo’s Media Aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, said the 32-room facility had been handed over to the state government for immediate use.

According to the statement, Obasanjo was concerned about the pandemic and feels those who can assist in one way or another to safe the situation should do so.

“The facility is located off the Presidential Boulevard, along Oke-Mosan Abeokuta has 32 rooms ensuite, with a standby generator”, the statement said.T


he Special Adviser to the state Governor on Public Communications , Remmy Hazzan confirmed donation of the facility to the government.
