UN Appoints Yemi Alade As Goodwill Ambassador


Popular Nigerian songstress, Yemi Alade has been appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

She joins legendary musician, Tubaba on the UN team.

Yemi Alade took to Instagram to share the good news of her UN appointment.

Speaking on the new role, the singer revealed that she is ready to hit the ground running and get to work in helping UNDP achieve its sustainable development goals by 2030, especially at this critical time where Covid-19 has impacted on many lives, further widening the gap between the rich and the poor.
