Image
About thirty-eight more corpses were on Monday recovered from the scene of Saturday’s onslaught on farmers by Boko Haram Insurgents in Borno State, sources told SaharaReporters. The deceased were slaughtered at a rice plantation in Kwashabe village, about 20 kilometres north of Maiduguri. The insurgents were also said to have destroyed the rice plantation after killing the farmers. The  Defence Headquarters had claimed only 43 people were killed , but a source told SaharaReporters that the death toll had risen to 81 as 38 more bodies were recovered by search and rescue teams on Monday. He said, “The army restricted us from capturing the scene with our phones; they know what they are doing, and they know they will be exposed. Today alone, 38 bodies were recovered and it will continue tomorrow. “What happened here was a human harvest, not massacre, the story media and the government is just lying. They did not even talk about the farm produce and rice plantation that was razed ablaze...

Georgia Ordered to File Brief in Sidney Powell Election Suit

Image
(Dreamstime) Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and the state’s elections chief were ordered by a federal judge to explain their opposition to allowing inspections of voting machines that President Donald Trump has claimed “switched” votes in favor of Joe Biden. U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten in Atlanta gave Kemp and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger until Wednesday to file a brief in response to inspection demands by former Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell, who filed a suit alleging Dominion Voting Systems Inc. machines are part of a vast election-rigging scheme involving Democratic-run cities, billionaire George Soros and “communist money” from Venezuela and Cuba. Powell, who seeks to decertify Biden’s victory in the state, has produced scant evidence. Dominion has denied all claims made by Powell and other Trump allies concerning the election. Biden’s victory in Georgia was certified on Nov. 20 following a hand recount confirmed the results. A machine recount requested b...

Trump presses 'hapless' Georgia governor to overrule secretary of state on signature matching

Image
President Trump  called on Republican  Georgia  Gov. Brian Kemp to override Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on matching signatures during the state's recount, in a tweet Monday. Raffensperger has said  that matching the signature on the outer envelope to the absentee ballot on the inside is impossible, because the ballots are separated from the envelopes when they are opened to protect voter privacy. The Trump campaign, which formally asked for a recount Nov. 22, says that "without signature-matching, this recount would be a sham and again allow for illegal votes to be counted." Georgia  certified  President-elect Joe Biden as the winner on Nov. 20. "Why won’t Governor  @BrianKempGA , the hapless Governor of Georgia, use his emergency powers, which can be easily done, to overrule his obstinate Secretary of State, and do a match of signatures on envelopes," Trump tweeted Monday. "It will be a 'goldmine' of fraud, and we will easily WIN the st...

Trump lawyers allege Arizona election fraud conspiracy in GOP 'hearing'

Image
President Trump's  personal attorney Rudy Giuliani urged  Arizona  state legislators to get to the bottom of an alleged voter fraud conspiracy during a "hearing" Monday, the same day that the state certified the election for Democratic President-elect  Joe Biden . "You also had numerous situations of your workers, your citizens, observing the poll officials helping people vote to the point of telling them who to vote for," Giuliani said. "Poll workers being observed changing votes, taking ambiguous votes and making sure they were cast for Biden." Giuliani questioned retired Army Col. Phil Waldron, presented as a cybersecurity expert during the meeting, which was attended by Arizona state lawmakers and Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz. Waldron also spoke at Giuliani's meeting about election fraud concerns with Pennsylvania state lawmakers last week. Supporters of President Donald Trump protest in front of a local hotel where Arizona Republicans have schedul...

Trump Attorney Ellis: No President-Elect Until Electoral College Votes

Image
Jenna Ellis (Jacquelyn Martin/AP Photo) States' certifications and projections "don't mean anything" when it comes to who won the Nov. 3 presidential election, because the only thing that really matters is the Electoral College, Jenna Ellis, who is part of the Trump campaign's legal team, said Monday while discussing the push for state legislatures to appoint electors to determine the race. "Until the Electoral College actually votes on Dec. 14, we don't have a president-elect," Ellis told  Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo , explaining that the team is working "two parallel tracks to keep up the fight for President Donald Trump's reelection." "First is the litigation strategy, where we're challenging the fraud and the widespread fraud in court," she said. "That's where we are currently in Pennsylvania. We also have a parallel track with state legislatures." State lawmakers, she said, can take back their powe...

Microsoft Patents Tech to Track Employees' Body Language at Meetings

Image
(Dreamstime) Microsoft has patented technology that would use cameras, sensors, and software tools to monitor people's body language and facial expressions during meetings,  reports GeekWire . The "meeting insight computing system" would score meetings by tracking several parameters including the number of people in the room, temperature, time of day, noise level, body language and/or facial expressions of meeting participants, and the amount of time each participant spends contributing during the meeting. The system uses cameras, microphones, and a personal electronic device to determine, for example, "how much a participant contributes to a meeting vs performing other tasks (e.g., texting, checking email, browsing the Internet)." "Because conventional computerized scheduling systems lack real-world context, users may not be aware that they are attempting to schedule non-optimal meetings, which may result in meetings that are unproductive at best," th...
