House GOP Demand Election Fraud Hearings
A group of House Republicans is calling on congressional leaders to hold election fraud hearings.
In a tweet on Friday, Rep. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) said he’s joining the push along with seven of his colleagues. These colleagues include Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.), Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), Rep. David Rouzer (R-.N.C.), Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) and Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas).
In a letter to top Republicans and Democrats, the lawmakers said the courts have not held any hearings despite dozens of lawsuits alleging fraud in the 2020 elections.
They believe Congress should immediately look at all of the evidence of alleged voter fraud, illegal voting and election theft. The group wants action before Congress meets next month to count the electoral college votes.
