New York Police Department officers took four suspected MS-13 gang members into custody Wednesday after they saw them lug a "large, unknown object" wrapped in a blanket into their Nissan Altima. NYPD officers approached the car discovering the large object to be a "human body with severe trauma," according to Fox News.

NYPD officers were working with Homeland Security Investigations around 1:50 a.m., when they spotted four men exiting a building in Far Rockaway, Queens, carrying a something wrapped in a blanket to their car and placing it in the trunk.

Officers say they followed the vehicle for just under one mile. when they conducted a traffic stop on the Nassau Expressway near Bayview Avenue on Long Island. Upon approaching the car, they noticed a strong odor.  The identity of the woman found wrapped in a blanket has not been released. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene. The four men were then brought into custody, but no charges as of yet have been pressed.
