Obasanjo Reveals Why Nnamdi Kanu was Arrested
The former military head of state and later president of Nigeria, General Olusegun Obasanjo, the hideous politician and legendary actor of political godfatherism in Nigeria has shown a tactically suspicious concern towards the rearrest of the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The Yoruba have a saying that, if a child dies and thereafter someone within turns around to say assuredly what led to the child's death, then the child's parents do not need to look for the child's killer. This traditional saying is what Obasanjo has just replayed, following the announcement of Nnamdi Kanu's arrest.
Speaking to The Cable on Monday, 28th June 2021, Obasanjo said, “It’s ridiculous to the extreme. But you have it in social media and you see people believing it. Social media have done good but it can be abused and misused.”
Obasanjo has never said anything to the media since 2017 when Nnamdi Kanu began to make it known to the world that General Buhari has died and buried in Saudi Arebia. This remark by the schemer, Obasanjo is a revelation that Nnamdi Kanu was arrested on account of his revelation of Buhari's death.
Be reminded that Obasanjo has ever been after the destruction of Ndigbo as a revenge for his father's abandoment of his mother and self. He led the last opperation against the Igbo during the war; he chose Goodluck for the Igbo Presidential turn instead, he called the Igbo Miscreants, now it was him who announced the rearrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu before the government announced it.
