Why British won't be Serious over Kanu

Image
In 1984, Nigeria’s kidnapping of Umaru Dikko in UK seriously damaged relations between Nigeria & UK. All the kidnappers were tried & jailed by UK Umaru Dikko was not a British citizen but a resident. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not a British dweller alone; he is a bonafide British citizen. That counts more. Nigeria’s abduction of Umaru Dikko brought these consequences: 17 men were arrested, 4 convicted & jailed for 6 to 8 years. Britain broke relations with Nigeria for 2 years. Nigeria’s later extradition request for Dikko was denied & Dikko remained free. It may be as a way of paying Britain back for denying the earlier extradition request that the DSS DG refused to allow nnaNna Kanu sign the extradition form. In this condition, legality permits that UK should come for immediate tranfer of MNK. But I fear that Britain willing not work. See the content of the image below,

"Immediately following the IPO, the CCP's cyber arm, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), opened an investigation into Didi claiming that the company violated Chinese privacy and national security laws,"  the Senators' letter  reads. He said some have dubbed the two lawmakers as “Pelosi Republicans.” The congressman added, the GOP cannot work with elected officials who criticize their own party more than they do the Democrats. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) echoe...

(Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images) The Delta variant has caused a spike in COVID-19 cases across the U.S. In response, Joe Biden announced new initiatives on Thursday in an effort to get more Americans vaccinated. The Democrat has urged states to utilize pandemic funds to give $100 to anyone who receives the vaccine. He also controversially stated that federal employees would need to get vaccinated or face repeated COVID tests. “Every federal government employee will be asked to attest to their vaccination status,” said Biden. “Anyone who does not attest or is not vaccinated, will be required to wear a mask no matter where they work, test one or two times a week to see if they have acquired COVID, socially distance and generally will not be allowed to travel for work.” The Delta variant is different than what we’ve dealt with previously. It’s highly trans...

This comes after Congress’ chief physician re-imposed mask mandates on Wednesday, causing tensions to rise on the floor. GOP lawmake...
