After Burning 17 Igbos Alive, IGP Launches Heavier Opperations in Igboland
As a sequel to the indiscriminent killing of Igbos and burning alive 17 People in Orlu, Imo State on Easter Sunday, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, a Fulani man, has ordered the immediate deployment of additional operational assets to Southeast.
According to him, "these assets shall complement officers and men attached to Operation Restore Peace in the South East and other launched operations, with the aim of flushing out criminal elements who hide under the guise of aggrieved citizens to perpetrate criminal acts."
IGP called the Igbo population "aggrieved citizens" who should be flushed out as criminals. But the fulani militias who have captured three communities in Kebbi State and displaced them are not attacked heavily.
They will do everything in their power to kill the Igbos because they are not armed.
There is civil disobedience everywhere in the world, I have not seen the governement launched any opperation to wipe them out. IGP could not launch any opperation in the North where Boko Haram and ISWAP are ravaging all the state's inthe north.
The IGP further stresses that attacks on police officers in the line of duty would no longer be tolerated under whatever guise, as the Force holds the lives of its personnel sacrosanct.
