Peter Obi Emerged as the Labour Party Presidential Flag Bearer



Labour party, the new party of Peter Obi, has finally elected him the be the party's flag bearer for the oncoming Presidential election, come 2023.

Obi left the People Democrats Party (PDP) following what he described as the indiscriminate buying of delegates; a concept he believes is against his conscience as a nation'san.

Speaking on this, Obi took to his Twitter handle and and showed his heartfelt appreciation as follow,

"I thank Nigerians; especially members of the Labour Party who gathered to partake in the primaries to choose the person that will fly Labour flag in the forthcoming National election to choose the President of Nigeria. I am honored to have emerged the candidate."
