The Problems with MNK's Message from the DSS Detention - Onyeji Nnaji
When we hear anything from MNK we should take time to understand him better to ward off misconceptions. Those of us media warriors too should do veritable jobs in both interpretations and analysis. If these speech situations highlighted above are needed to, we wouldn't have problems with what he sayd each time.
Again, we know that Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the reporter, cannot say things exactly the way MNK had said them. Reasons are simple; Ifeanyi sees and knows what is happening because he is here with us, but MNK is not here. Therefore, whatever MNK says and how he says it depends on the information he received. This is where we, analysts, come in.
If Ifeanyi did not mention anybody's name or a particular group, we are not supposed to mention names to avoid problems. We can't keep fighting ourselves to the mockery of our enemies. My people said that, "Two people died fighting because there was no third person." Media warriors are the third party. As one, our role is to meditate.
I follow, read and hear some of the things we say in order to assess our level of understanding about freedom fighting and the present situation of Biafra struggle. And from my observation, we are far more divided than ever. I belong to Peter, while others belong to Paul, has Biafra been divided?
My memory hasn't left me about the conclusion of Garba shehu. He said, and I quote, "IPOB will end just like the arrest of MNK". Heaven forbid. But we are consistently giving reasons for his words to be fulfilled. MNK said that our enemies are more than we think we know. We are our real enemies. We have continued to attack one another instead of attacking our enemies. MNK has one enemy, the Fulani; not Nigeria in particular. If it is Nigeria or Nigerians, he wouldn't have said that the liberation he is fighting for will cut across the Hausans in far north and...
Let us focus on healing and reuniting ourselves. This is the only time we can speak from one mouth and channel our strength towards our true enemy, the Fulani.
Long live IPOB!
Long live MNK!!
Long live The Republic of Biafra!!!
