Nigerian Army Killed Protesters in Enugu and Injured many


The Nigerian army, early today, shot to dead protesters in Enugu state and injured many.

AjuedeNews gathered that the traders of Ogbete main market Enugu, today, crowded the streets in protest against the unlawful sealing of their shops by the state government for obeying the sit-at-home order dominant in Southeast on Mondays.

While the protest was on, the Nigerian army came out in their usual malhandling style of civilians and overran the protesters. They shot directly at the business men and killed many, while greater in the number of the protesters were left fatally injured by bullets.

When the commissioner of police was called upon, he testified that he had warned Governor Mba that he doesn't have the right to stop sit-at-home.
