Schwarzenegger lends support to families of Israeli hostages

California's former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has met the relatives of three people seized by Hamas who remain hostages in Gaza.

He called on the world not to abandon those who are still being held captive now that the truce has ended.

One of those who met the Hollywood star was Bar Rudaeff, whose 61-year-old father Lior was taken from a kibbutz on 7 October.

"I remember watching a Terminator movie with him in the living room. And I know that when he comes back, it will put a smile on his face," he said.
