(photo credit: IDF SPOKESPERSON'S UNIT) The latest leaks that came out about Unit 8200 talked about an internal IDF report which mostly exonerated Unit 8200’s current commander “Y” from any special fault. Anyone who got lost the last couple days while trying to follow the flood of new leaks about errors that allowed Hamas to invade southern Israel, kill 1,200 people, and kidnap around another 240 should not feel badly. Even for those of us who have been living and breathing this information constantly for nearly five months, it was not that easy to follow. Just as important, it took time to analyze who was behind the different leaks (it was different parties) and why they leaked what they did.

After threats and abuse, British lawmakers question their safety over Gaza

(photo credit: REUTERS/Isabel Infantes) With the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war and the difficulty in containing fiery rhetoric, British lawmakers have described their fears and anxieties over their support of Israel. It was 10 minutes of shouted accusations of being a "genocide enabler" and having "blood on your hands" that made a British lawmaker fear for his safety over his decision to voice support for Israel in its war with Hamas. Almost touching noses with his accuser before walking away and warning he would call the police, the opposition Labour Party member said the incident in a town in his constituency was just the latest of several that made him change his behavior.

Trump scores another convincing win against Haley in Michigan primary

Image
Donald Trump  has won  Michigan’s Republican primary election , the latest in a string of convincing primary victories as he closes in on the GOP presidential nomination. The Associated Press called the race for Trump over the former South Carolina governor  Nikki Haley  at 9pm ET. The former president has repeatedly trounced Haley in the primaries, but she has hung on with a campaign that continues to highlight areas of weakness for Trump and offers  Republicans  uneasy about Trump a protest vote of their own.  Haley has pledged to stay in the primaries  at least through next Tuesday, 5 March, when 15 states will vote and Trump could all but sew up the Republican nomination. Trump did not travel to the state Tuesday night. He instead called into a  Michigan  GOP election night watch party in Grand Rapids, where he stressed the importance of the state in the general election and said the results Tuesday evening were “far greater than ant...

Firing back against  critics who say his own age is a liability  in the upcoming election, 81-year-old Biden told Seth Meyers, “You got to take a look at the other guy,” referring to the 77-year-old Trump. “He’s about as old as I am, but he can’t remember his wife’s name,” he joked, in an apparent reference to an episode over the weekend where the former president mistakenly called his wife Melania “Mercedes” during remarks at CPAC. Ad Feedback During the interview on NBC’s “Late Night,” Biden said voters should not just consider how old a candidate is, but “how old (their) ideas are.” “Look, I mean, this is a guy who wants to ta...
