Benjamin Netanyahu, without mincing words, criticized Emmanuel Macron du e to his position in the Israeli UN stance about the crises in the middle east.

In the exclusive interview with Israel the French newspaper, Le Figaro on Thursday,

Macron was reporte to have spoken behind closed doors that,

"Netanyahu must not forget that his country was created by a decision of the UN. Therefore, he should not liberate himself from the decisions of the UN."

Netanyahu responded by telling Le Figaro, "The UN recognized the Jewish people's right to a state, but it certainly did not create it. The Jewish people have been connected to the Land of Israel for 3,500 years."

Netanyahu was asked by Le Figaro and quoted by Israeli media about Macron's call to impose an arms embargo on Israel for weapons used in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

Netanyahu responded by noting that although Israel does not receive arms and weapons from France, he considered Macron's statement to be shameful and told Le Figaro that he hoped that France would change its policy.
