Jubilations Across Igboland over Trump's Victory - Onyeji Nnaji

There was jubilation across Igboland following the victory of President Donald J Trump in the November 5th presidential Election. Many Igbo business men declared free drinks in various beer parlour to celebrate Trump's victory. They were so sunk into this as though Trump has won the election to be their president here in Nigeria.



AjuedeNews recalled that a similar situation took place in 2019 when the results that pouring out from polls showed that Trump would be victorious. Particularly in Onitsha, Chatolic women organized themselves to celebrate. To this end, AjuedeNews tried to know why the celebration.

Unanimously, they celebrants revealed that Trump's victory is the victory of Christians alover the globe. And here, the victory meant a lot. They believed that the reason the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is still in detaintion is because Trump was not the one on seat. Was he in the office Nnamdi Kanu would have been released. They believed that, though Trump may not do this directly, but he can influence his release.

At another drinking point a similar view was also received. The latter group of celebrants were concerned about their freedom. The salesman who spoke with AjuedeNews revealed that Trump would help set them free from the incessant killing of the Igbo people by the Nigerian  States. 

The speaker narrated, pointing out different parts of Igboland where the inhabitants are being slaughtered in their numbers by the Nigerian army. This proves Shashi Ishai true for comparing Igbo massacre with the Israeli holocaust in her narrative of the Igbo situation.

The Igbo are expectant, their hope for freedom lies in the good decision of president Trump. They believed that Biden has been in the Nigerian payroll to usurp the plan for Biafra referendum. With the headquarters of The Biafra Government in Exile situated in the United States of America, the Biafran expectation is on what the US president would offer.

Etymologically, the term “preposition” belonged to the group of word class Aristotle, the founder, referred to as “syndesmoi”. Others in this group are conjunction , article and pronoun .
