What MAN U need is not a coach with a bold name on the walls of coaches but would not deliver. Yes,  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may not be a world renowned coach, but his deeds speak for him.  These three winning at stretch are clear indications that he meant his words when he vowed to move the club forward during his first press conference. Today, Bournemouth returns home with three goals.

As  the hide-and-seek game between Dino Melaye, the senator representing Kogi Central District in the National Assembly, and the Nigerian Police Force continues at his residence in Abuja, SaharaReporters can authoritatively report that the power supply to the lawmaker's house has been cut off by the security operatives, who have been keeping vigil at the house. The Police had invaded Melaye's house on Friday, over allegations he was culpable in the shooting of a police officer in July 2018. According to a source, policemen have disconnected the building from the national grid with the view to rendering the home inhabitable. Speaking on the incident via phone call on Friday, the lawmaker had said he would not be intimidated by the pressure and promised to honour the Police invitation as soon as he arrives Abuja.

Don’t Be Deceived, APC Won’t Hand Over To You, Obasanjo Tells Igbo Leaders

The former President, General Olusegun Obasanjo saturday asked the Igbo leaders across the federation to remain focused and united, saying the All Progressives Congress (APC) would not honour its promise to hand over presidency to an Igbo indigene in 2023. Consequently, Obasanjo urged the Igbo not to allow any person from any part of the country relegate them to the background, noting that the Igbo occupied a place of preeminence in the emergence of Nigeria. He gave the warning at a stakeholders meeting held at the residence of former Minister of Aviation, Chief Mbazuluke Amechi in Ukpor Nnewi South Local Government Area, Anambra State yesterday. At the meeting, Obasanjo urged the Igbo to bury all their differences and work together for the actualisation of the Atiku Abubakar/Peter Obi candidature, which he said, was in the best interest of Nigeria and Nigerians. He, particularly, urged Atiku’s running mate “to reach out to Mbazuluke Amechi and other eminent personalities in I...

HOW TO SEARCH FOR A LIFE PARTNER

Image
Before we progress, it may be helpful and easy to understand my explanation of this process if we first draw our analysis from the scripture. The concept finding a wife, scripturally, started with the life of Isaac and Rebecca. And for a better understanding of the scriptural recommendations on this matter we must understand how this was done. Now, let us see how Rebecca was sought and found. The scripture informs us thus: So Abraham said to the oldest servant of his house, who ruled over all that he had, “Please, put your hand under my thigh, and I will make you swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell; but you shall go to my country and to my family, and take a wife for my son Isaac.”  Gen 24:2-4 Isaac here is seen in the naivety of the whole event. He had no knowledge about choice making and what to do to get the real person that will promote th...

Invasion of Melaye’s House Police Abuse of Citizens - Saraki

Image
Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has described the invasion of the Abuja home of Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, as another instance of police being used to suppress the rights of the citizenry and silencing people with opposing views to the current administration. Saraki in a statement signed by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Yusuph Olaniyonu, noted that a situation where the police invaded the home of a Nigerian lawmaker, interfered with the supply of electricity and water to the house, beat up and cuffed his domestic staff and disturbed the peace of his neighbours by claiming he allegedly committed an offence in July was unacceptable. He said the timing of the invasion and the desperate attempt to arrest the Senator is suspicious as the man had raised an alarm a few days before his house was invaded that there was an attempt by the police to get hold of him and inflict injury on his person, an allegation that was denied...
