NY Post Urges Trump to Concede

President Donald Trump’s continued effort to overturn the Nov. 3 election results got a front-page rebuke from one his most loyal backers: the New York Post. “Mr. President, it’s time to end this dark charade,” the New York City tabloid’s editorial board wrote in Monday’s edition. The paper, which endorsed Trump for president, tells Trump to “Give it up,” adding “for your sake and the nation’s.” Trump is a regular reader of the New York Post. When he cut off White House subscriptions to certain newspapers last year, the Post wasn’t one of them. Paper copies have been delivered to the White House throughout his presidency. Before the election, a columnist for the newspaper, owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp., called Trump an “invincible hero.” Murdoch is also the founder and owner of Fox News, which has come under heavy fire from Trump and conservative viewers for their coverage of the president and the election this year. The paper had also made a controversial decision to publish an...

President Trump addressed the Democrat-run states’ lockdowns by claiming they cause far more damage than good. He emphasized Republican-run states are doing well, especially compared to the surge in cases that states under tough restrictions are experiencin...

Dr. Anthony Fauci  on Sunday dismissed accusations that he deliberately moved the goalposts on when the country would vaccinate enough people against COVID-19 to reach herd immunity, saying he was previously offering "guestimates." In subsequent interviews, Fauci has focused on the other part of  that Times report  in which he compared COVID-19 to measles, saying at the time that "I'd bet my house that COVID isn't as contagious as measles."
