Advertisement On Saturday, at least four students’ lives were taken and 60 others were injured in a stampede at the Cochin University of Science and Technology in Kerala state. Students were said to have been enjoying a music festival when heavy rain started, causing chaos in the crowd as people began to seek shelter. 13 Israeli Hostages, 4 Foreigners Released In Israel-Hamas Exchange

New Court Filing: N.Y.C. Mayor Adams Accused Of Sexual Assault From 1993

Advertisement According to a new court filing, a woman filed a summons under New York’s Adult Survivors Act that names Adams (D-N.Y.), the New York Police Department (NYPD) and two unknown entities as defendants. It continued to state that the plaintiff was also working for the city at the time of the assault and that at the time, Adams was a police captain. “Plaintiff was sexually assaulted by Defendant Eric Adams in New York, New York in 1993 while they both worked for the City of New York,” the summons said. “The claims brought here allege intentional and negligent acts and omissions for physical, psychological, and other injuries suffered as a result of conduct that would constitute sexual offenses.”  The unidentified woman is seeking $5 million in relief as well as attorney fees and interest.  The legal documents also ...

Anti-Palestine Protesters Took over the Street in US

Pro-Palestinian protesters have disrupted the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade by gluing their hands to the floor of the parade route. Advertisement On Thursday, just before 11 a.m., around 30 protestors jumped the barricades that ran along Sixth Avenue at West 45 th  Street. The group, dressed in white jumpsuits covered in fake blood, then glued their hand to the floor of Sixth Avenue. This demonstration caused disruption to the parade, as floats, bands and balloons were forced to be diverted.    Additionally, protesters were demanding “Liberation for Palestine and the Climate.” They were also seen carrying a banner that read, “Genocide then. Kentucky Gov. Declares State Of Emergency After Train Derailment, Chemical Spill

(Photo by Luke Sharrett/Getty Images) Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency after a train derailed prompted a chemical spill.  Advertisement On Wednesday, Beshear (D-Ky.) declared a state of emergency in Rockcastle County, Kentucky after roughly 16 train cars derailed, including two that contained molten sulfur that ended up on fire.  According to a statement, the CSX train derailed at approximately 2:23 p.m. on Wednesday, just north of Livingston. They continued stating that special equipment is being sent to detect air monitoring and emergency teams are investigating the situation.  “When molten sulphur burns it is known to release sulphur dioxide. Specialized equipment is being deployed to conduct air monitoring in the area,” the company’s statement continued. “CSX is in close contact with the Rockcastle county emergency teams as they continue to assess the situation and we appreciate their swift response.” Bes...
