Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the  Indigenous People of Biafra  (IPOB), has revealed why Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has insisted on presiding over his trial, even after she had recused herself from the case. She is obliged by the federal government to convict Nnamdi Kanu to dismiss the  ongoing corruption cases against her husband and son. INTERPOL officers The International Criminal Police Organisation says it arrested no fewer than 36 suspects for offences bordering on fraud and human trafficking in a coordinated operation with security agencies in Nigeria. PUNCH reveals that the operation also led to the recovery of $3m among other exhibits. The Senate has resolved to investigate the allegations by the Niger Republic Head of State, Brig. Gen. Abdourahmane Tchiani, against Nigeria. Tchiani had in December last year alleged that Nigeria was colluding with France to destabilise his country.
